The development team at Rockstar has not talked about it even after fans unearthed a number of details, but the big Halloween event for the Online side of Grand Theft Auto V is now live for all interested gamers, adding a range of special items that they will be able to use even after the actual celebrations end.

From today to Monday, November 16, gamers on the PlayStation 4, the PC , and the Xbox One will be able to get access to two new vehicles: the Lurcher Hearse, which makes it clear that the user loves inflicting pain on others, and the Franken Strange, which has a more muscle car profile.

Both of them can be customized, and gamers can also get access to a range of 20 new Bobbleheads for GTA Online, which can be added to the dashboard of any customizable lowrider that has been introduced via the recent update.

Rockstar goes on to say in the official announcement that gamers will also be able to "Strike fear into your opponents by donning one of the horrific new masks now available in the Monsters section of Vespucci Movie Masks. If you and your Crew are tackling a Heist between now and November 16th, a new Halloween mask category will be the default option on all Heists."

When it comes to face paints, gamers have 30 new styles that they can choose from, all of them designed to appeal to fans of Halloween.

All the content can be used forever in the open-world title once it is secured.

GTA Online also gets a new Slasher Adversary mode

The experience is designed to take the core mechanics that gamers already know, with eight players participate, and to adapt them to a darkened environment.

One gamer becomes the Slasher, who wields a shotgun and aims to take out all the others, while his potential victims need to survive for three minutes, able to use a newly introduced flashlight.

Rockstar is also hinting that it will run more special events linked to Halloween during the coming weekend, although the studio is not yet ready to offer actual details about them.

A new stream that will feature some special guests will also be soon revealed.

Rockstar has made it clear that it is focusing on the Online component of GTA V at the moment and has no plans to introduce single-player downloadable content for the open-world title at any point in the near future.

The multiplayer-focused experience has managed to perform very well on all platforms on which it was released, although the studio has announced, to the chagrin of some players, that it will no longer add new mechanics for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.

The recent Lowriders update for GTA Online has introduced some new cars and customization options.

Rockstar is also saying that it wants as many players as possible to create their own content, and it regularly highlights the best that the community has to offer to encourage more solid design from the gamers.
