Gamers will have to pay a lot for the priviledge

It seems that one of the editions associated with the coming Gears of War 4, which features a high price tag, is designed to allow buyers to get access to the title four days earlier than the general population, which can offer fans a very solid boost as far as the multiplayer action is concerned.

The information comes from Gamecentreonline and is based on a listing of the Ultimate Edition for the new video game that was found on the Xbox Store in New Zeeland, but so far, neither developer The Coalition nor publisher Microsoft has offered any official announcement about the issue.

The four-day of early access is apparently linked to the Ultimate Edition of Gears of War 4, which is offered for 149.99 dollars or Euro for those who want to get access to some extra content associated with the game.

The fan base will be unhappy if the two involved companies confirm that those willing to pay more for the coming video game will be able to play early, and traditionally, publishers have sought to avoid offering such deals because gamers tend to react negatively.

Gears of War 4 will be launched only on the Xbox One on October 11, and it's unclear whether the four days of early access linked to the Ultimate Edition will apply to both the campaign and the multiplayer.

The Coalition aims to reinvent the core elements of the franchise

Gears of War 4 will bring one of the biggest franchises associated with the platform to the new hardware from Microsoft, and the developers want to create a game that shows what the platform can do and attract long-term fans of the franchise.

The campaign will focus on JD Fenix, the son of Marcus, who is exploring an area outside of government control to find out more about a new enemy that's threatening Sera, known as the Swarm.

The game will offer two-player cooperative action, and there are two other companions who will join him, with The Coalition trying to recapture some of the horror that permeated the first installment.

When it comes to multiplayer, gamers will be able to play many of the classic modes, and the studio is also trying to introduce some interesting tweaks to the classic third-person cover shooter formula.

A beta for Gears of War 4 is running at the moment and is open to all those who have an Xbox Live Gold account and a willingness to offer feedback.
