Samsung's newly released Galaxy Note 7 has made quite an impression on the market, as the smartphone has been received even better than the company had ever expected. That's why the South Korean giant has been struggling to meet the demand, with its stock being rather ”limited” at this point.

Pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 7 are live in Europe, but Conor Pierce, Samsung's Vice President of IT and Mobile for the UK and Ireland, has stated, “Market reaction, combined with extremely positive feedback from our carrier and retail partners, indicates that the Note 7 will exceed our original sales forecasts for the region by some distance. As such, the number of preorder units will be limited due to the unprecedented demand,” according to SamMobile.

In fact, the Galaxy Note 7 in Blue Coral and Black Onyx are currently out of stock on Samsung's UK website, but the two variants could still be available at third-party retailers in the country.

This isn't quite surprising, considering that Samsung has already announced delayed releases in multiple European countries, including Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Ukraine, and even Russia. The release date was postponed to September 2, when it will officially hit stores.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 comes with the new Gear VR

Samsung decided to limit the number of units provided for pre-orders so that the retail launch wouldn't be affected. The Galaxy Note 7 will be released together with the new Gear VR, and a number of carriers from Europe are also offering bonuses for pre-orders of the phone.

A recent report showed that Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 could record double the shipments of the Galaxy Note 5, reaching 3 million units in the third quarter. The report also indicated that Samsung could diversify suppliers for key parts of the Note 7 so that it could meet market demand faster. Some Galaxy Note 7 units have already been shipped to customers from the US while the official release is set for August 19.
