The first trailer for the long-overdue “Deadpool” spinoff movie was shown in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con 2015, but as leading man Ryan Reynolds explained at the time, the cut included unfinished FVX, so it wouldn’t be released wide too soon.

However, he stressed, the fans will get their chance to see the beloved and foul-mouthed comic book hero again, and they wouldn’t even have to wait that long for it.

Apparently, Reynolds will be on Conan O’Brien tomorrow, Tuesday, August 4, 2015, and he will also introduce the first official trailer for its worldwide premiere.

This might be the same cut that was shown at Comic-Con, but it could also turn out to be a shorter version of it. While movie studios are usually very generous in this respect with the crowd in Hall H at the popular annual event, they’re not so much when it comes to world premieres, mostly because they have to pace the releases to keep the hype going - and sustain it too.

“Ryan Reynolds debuts the new redband trailer for ‘Deadpool’.” O’Brien’s official website has been updated to read. “We're filling up his dressing room with chimichangas in anticipation.”

“Deadpool” will be R-rated and will be released in February 2016. It is the first superhero / comic book-based movie to come out with this age restriction, with Reynolds saying that he was the one to insist on it because a more PG-friendly cut wouldn’t have been true to the character.
