The third full game update for FIFA 16 is now live for gamers on the PC and the PlayStation 4, with those playing the football simulation on the Xbox One set to also get access to it as soon as possible, and it offers a range of improvements and some needed fixes for issues that the community has been recently talking about.

Gamers will be happy to know that EA Sports has tweaked the online matchmaking in order to improve it for all members of the community, allowing them to find games faster and to be paired up with those who have a similar skill level.

An exploit that some gamers were using to boost their win and loss record in FIFA Online Season has also been eliminated, and a look at the end of this article offers a full list of the tweaks that are part of the third title update for FIFA 16.

To improve the overall game experience, EA Sports is also adding improved heads for a range of players, with many of them playing for the newly promoted teams that are making an impact on the Barclay's Premier League.

Roma, Barcelona and Inter Milan, some of the most interesting teams included, now have a new third kit choice, and there are other stability tweaks that the development team is not directly listing.

Gamers are relatively happy with the changes made, especially those focused on the very popular Ultimate Team experience.

There are still complaints that the core gameplay needs to be tweaked, with some gamers saying that EA Sports is making stealth changes that are actually making it harder to enjoy matches.

Moderators have repeatedly assured the fan base that no significant changes are made without being listed, but a little more transparency in the notes would not hurt.

FIFA 16 has space to evolve in the coming months

EA Sports says that it wants gamers, especially those who spent a lot of time with the game, to continue to offer feedback and suggestions for possible improvements, which is a sign that more content updates will be delivered in the coming months.

The FIFA series traditionally gets a big set of player-rating tweaks once the winter transfer window ends, which means the developers can also update rosters.

The studio seems to be mostly satisfied with the way the gameplay features at the moment, and it's unlikely that fan pressure will lead to changes.

EA Sports will probably use that occasion to also deliver a range of tweaks that are more focused on gameplay and the Ultimate Team mode.

Until that moment, gamers will continue to get access to a Team of the Week every Wednesday, giving them more options for their first eleven.

EA Sports is also saying that it is planning to deliver more events for the title, all of them designed to keep the community engaged.

FIFA 16 includes a range of changes when compared to its predecessor, with a bigger focus on midfield action and careful build-up that can create chances for strikers.
