Fallout 4 was for many gamers the most interesting title revealed during E3 2015, but since the impressive demos were shown, some fans have begun questioning some of the core additions to the series, with a recent focus on the fact that the lines of the main character are fully voiced.

Todd Howard, the leader of the team working on the open world title, is quoted by NeoGAF as saying that the choice of Brian T. Delaney and Courtenay Taylor as voice actors was a good one, because they deliver nuance that the written lines might never convey.

The Bethesda leader explains that the choice of male or female main character will offer players a different look at the world and the other characters.

Howard also makes clear that no limitations concerning the interactions with NPCs will be linked to the voice work.

He adds that "We had the same worry as everyone else. A lot of games have voiced characters, but what they don’t want to give up is all the dialogue options. So for us a lot of it was logistical. The voice actors have been recording for two years; they’ve each done over 13,000 lines of dialogue. So to be able to do that makes the difference; you still have choice."

Fallout 4 will introduce extensive crafting and world building options

The gameplay shown from the new Bethesda title suggests that the company has taken the core open world structure and improved most of the gameplay elements associated with it.

But the biggest surprise linked to Fallout 4 is the fact that players will be able to collect materials from the world around them and simply create their buildings and settlements, which will be then populated with characters that can offer gameplay advantages.

The title will also ask gamers to protect their towns and they can do so by crafting more than 700 versions of the 50 core weapons, with the tweaking extended to also cover the Power Armor that a gamer can wear.

Fallout 4 will be offered on the PC, the Xbox One from Microsoft and the PlayStation 4 from Sony on November 6 and fans can also pick up a special Pip-Boy Edition which includes a way to turn a smartphone into one of the iconic devices.
