Bethesda is confident in the November 10 debut

Fallout 4 developer Bethesda confirms that one of the reasons it confirmed the RPG so close to its November 10 launch is that the team wanted to showcase its near-final version. According to the studio, work on the RPG is close to completion, so a delay is unlikely.

Fallout 4 has been rumored for many years now, but Bethesda has declined to talk about its long awaited post-apocalyptic role-playing game until early this month. At that time, it shared the first gameplay video, and at E3 2015, it revealed a whole range of details, information, videos, and screenshots.

More importantly, the game also got a November 10 release date for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms. This rather sudden reveal caught some fans by surprise, as many companies reveal their titles a year or more ahead of launch.

Bethesda, on the other hand, decided to showcase Fallout 4 so close to launch as it wanted to present a near-final version, and through its quality, generate a huge amount of hype.

"The simplest answer was that we felt like we could," Bethesda's Pete Hines tells GamesRadar. "If we didn’t feel like that was enough time to generate the excitement that we expected and the interest that we wanted, then we would have announced it earlier. Part of it is getting the game to the point where it’s all done enough to be able to show so much of it. We’re pretty close to being done, which you have to be if you’re going to ship in five months."

As such, given that the sprawling RPG is nearly done, Bethesda is expected to stick to its November 10 release date and not push it back or delay the experience, unless something really crucial requires extra time to sort out.

Until November 10, you can bet that the studio will share much more details on the impressive RPG.
