Users noticed a character carrying a clipboard like a shield

The Fallout 4 game is almost here, and very soon we’ll know more about it when the embargo lifts, but until then we can enjoy all kinds of leaks, glitches, and simple oversights from the developers.

Fallout 4 launches on November 10, and the community got a truckload of leaks, both screenshots and gameplay clips, even if there is a very serious embargo put in place by Bethesda.

It’s a big world, and the company cannot control all the shops, and some people are bound to receive it earlier than others. It’s also quite possible that some of the leaks are caused by people who received advanced review copies.

The community is still split between unconditional love for Fallout 4 and healthy skepticism. Many still remember that most Bethesda games usually launch with bugs and other problems that are corrected over time.

This is an open-world game, and there will be problems with it, there is no doubt about it, but it remains to be seen if the fans will love it despite all the issues.

Copy-pasting animations is not a bad thing

Fallout 4 has been in the works since 2009, and the game uses an upgraded version of the Creation Engine, the same one from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

This is not a secret, and it’s clear that it was a good choice. Skyrim is extremely flexible, and it has been enhanced by the community well past its initial capabilities.

A short video taken from the beginning of Fallout 4 showed up over the weekend, and it shows how a harmless clipboard in the hand of a character changes into a shield for just a few frames. It was enough to be spotted by fans and posted all over the Internet.

This is most likely a remnant from the Creation Engine, a piece of code that was used in Skyrim as well. To be fair, this is done all the time in the industry, but it’s fun to see it in action. It will probably be corrected in the upcoming mandatory patches.
