Bungie confirms that it's aware of quite of a few issues that have appeared after update 2.0 launched for Destiny earlier this week. The problems range from missing rewards and items to crashes, freezes, or the inability to install add-on content obtained through pre-orders.

Destiny is set to receive its biggest expansion yet, in the form of The Taken King, next week across all platforms and regions. Ahead of the new add-on, the major free update 2.0 launched worldwide earlier this week, bringing all sorts of changes to the game, while setting the stage for the expansion.

Bungie is aware of several Destiny problems after patch 2.0

While the rollout of the new patch didn't bring that many problems, the actual update caused a few issues for some users across the game's various platforms.

In order to help fans with some information about the problems, Bungie has just posted on its forums a list of known issues about update 2.0.

First up, Bungie confirms that some players may have started receiving their pre-order bonus items for The Taken King early. The scheduled release for them is next week, on September 15, right alongside the expansion. As such, those who have yet to get the gear, such as the Suros Arsenal Pack, the Weapons Pack, the Exotic Guardian class items, and other such things, will get them soon enough.

The studio also mentions that it's aware of a problem with Patrols and Faction-specific quests not granting rewards upon completion. These activities will offer their expected rewards starting September 15 but those that have already been completed won't retroactively grant them. As such, it's useless to try and attempt them until next week.

Bungie knows about a crash and freeze scenario when multiple status effects are active but it doesn't have a solution just yet, as more investigation is needed.

Last but not least, the studio has also been informed that some Xbox One players who've purchased The Taken King Collector's Edition upgrade via the in-game prompt aren't able to install the added content. Its teams are investigating this problem as well, so expect a solution soon enough.
