Video game developer Bungie understands that the entire Destiny fan community is eagerly awaiting the arrival of the massive April update and is ready to introduce some more details about the kinds of rewards that players will be able to get to boost the capabilities of their Guardians.

A new Twitter message from the development team contains a short video that offers a very fast look at some of the more powerful loot that gamers will be able to pick up, and it seems that new images of Exotics will be posted from now on the official Instagram page.

Sterling Treasure and Chroma are added to get more complexity to the loot system and weapons including Grim Citizen III, Saterienne Rapier, The Devil You Know, The Swarm, Zombie Apocalypse, LDR 1000, Longbow Synthesis, The Comedian and Two to the Morgue are brought back.

More emotes are also added to the social shooter next month.

A live stream also offered more details about the changes that are coming to Destiny, with a full archive probably set to arrive at some point tomorrow, and another Twitch stream is prepared for April 6 when the company is planning to talk about the tweaks it is making to the Crucible and the sandbox.

The April update will be free and only offered to those who own The Taken King expansion, designed to add more activities for those who love Player versus Environment activities while also raising the Light level to a maximum of 335.

Gamers will also get access to a new quest called At the Gates and to an engaging Blighted Chalice strike, with another exclusive strike delivered for those who are playing on the PlayStation 4.

Iron Banner is currently live in Destiny

Those who are looking for something to do until the April update is live can get into some Iron Banner matches, with the mode now offering some new rewards for those who can put in a solid performance.

Next month players will also receive some improvements to mechanics and changes to the balance of weapons although Bungie has not yet offered a full list of them.

Destiny will also get another big expansion that comes with an attached price before the end of the year, presumably complete with one major raid and other tweaks to the core gameplay.

Bungie and Activision have also confirmed that they are working on a full sequel for the video game that will be offered in 2017, although rumors suggest that it should have arrived this year and was pushed back because of quality issues.
