Destiny has just received the massive update 2.0 and Bungie is seeing a wide number of players who are adapting to the major tweaks that the patch is doing to the social shooter, but the number of new issues affecting the community has been relatively low.

The studio is acknowledging on Twitter that some of the gamers who have pre-ordered The Taken King are at the moment not getting access to the items, emblems, shaders and other content associated with it.

Bungie is currently investigating the issue and plans to have it solved before the expansion goes live, making sure that all those who have bonuses can enjoy them.

In the meantime the company is also explaining that the rewards for the newly introduced Patrols are not yet implemented and can only be obtained next week, when The Taken King goes live for all those who buy it.

Gamers can currently enjoy a preview for the expansion in the Crucible, where seven new maps and two modes, Mayhem and Rift, are open for free for the entire community.

Bungie wants gamers to see the kind of new content that they will be able to play in order to make sure that as much of the community as possible makes the switch to The Taken King.

Oryx is coming to Destiny in a little more than one week

The coming expansion is designed to be bigger than both House of Wolves and The Dark Below, introducing the dreadnought as a massive new area for gamers to explore, with new enemies and a range of weapons and items for Guardians to use.

Three new subclasses are opened for gamers to use and more late game activities are offered for those who hit the new level cap.

King's Fall, the major new raid associated with The Taken King, will be added on September 18 and will give gamers a chance to battle Oryx, who is described as the toughest boss ever included in Destiny.

Bungie has also made it clear that a range of other changes to the social shooter will be made on September 15, although no full list has yet been offered.
