Dark Souls 3 arrives today in Japan, and to make sure that players who have to wait for it until April find the delay easier to endure, the team at From Software is delivering yet another trailer for the title, which is focused on the world that gamers can explore and the combat mechanics.

The Accursed trailer's best moments come late in the two-minute running time, where the studio focuses on the bosses that will be featured in the new action role-playing game and the unique mechanics associated with them.

From Software might deliver more information about the title as reports from Japanese players will appear over the weekend and during next week, and the community is already debating information about gameplay and narrative.

Dark Souls 3 will be out on April 12 on the PC, the Xbox One, and the PlayStation 4 for Western gamers.

Gamers can still pre-order the title to secure the Apocalypse Edition, which comes complete with a special case and with the official soundtrack. At the same time, the Collector's Edition adds a Red Knight special figurine and an art book, with the costly Prestige Edition also giving players access to a Lord of Cinder statue that can be joined with the one in the Collector's Edition to create an entire scene.

Dark Souls 3 runs at 900p on the Xbox One

A new report from Digital Foundry, which has picked up a Japanese copy of the game on the Xbox One, says that it runs at 900p on the Microsoft device, and it seems that there are areas of the title where it goes below the 30 frames per second mark.

It's unclear how Dark Souls 3 will run on the PC and the PlayStation 4 and whether the developers at From Software have a plan to improve the performance of the game via future patches.

The new title is designed to be the final one in the series, with Hidetaka Miyazaki, the director, saying that his team is aiming to wrap up many of the ideas that they have introduced in previous installments.

The team claims that Dark Souls 3 will be the best of the franchise and that a smaller number of overall maps means that more complexity and exploration has been introduced.

From Software has also suggested that it is planning to create and launch downloadable content for its title in 2016 before it starts to explore entirely new ideas and worlds.
