The new Dark Souls 3 trailer is gorgeous and capable to make your life miserable if you can't wait to get your hands on the game. That, or you might be able to get passed these last few weeks until release much easier by watching the new scenes selected by From Software and Bandai Namco for this trailer.

“True Colors of Darkness” is the name of the newest Dark Souls 3 trailer and, as the name suggests, the theme tune you'll be listening while watching it is a remix of Cyndi Lauper's “True Colors” hit launched back in the 80s.

Naturally, many of us don't even care what tunes we're hearing while watching this trailer. Actually, as some fans have already suggested, it would be fun to watch the trailer synced with The Benny Hill Show sound theme.

Dark, dreadful, scary - the way it should be

Joke aside, True Colors of Darkness shows some of the creepiest scenes ever seen in a Dark Souls game, but also a lot of action. So, if you are ready to fight for your life in the kingdom of Lothric, you can take up the challenge on April 12.

But not if you leave in Japan where Dark Souls 3 launches a few weeks earlier on March 24. The good news is the game arrives on all three major gaming platforms, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, at the same time.

If you plan to pre-order the game, then you will be pleased to know that From Software and Bandai Namco throw in some nice bonuses on each platform.

Xbox One pre-orders from the Xbox Store come with a free copy of the original Dark Souls game, which can be played through the console's backwards compatibility function.

For those who already own Dark Souls or Dark Souls 2 on Steam, there's a $5/€5 discount for Dark Souls 3. Also, all PC and PS4 pre-orders of the game come with the soundtrack included for free.
