Although one might believe that a product that's guaranteed to help one save their hearing, despite letting them enjoy their favorite music, can't be anything close to fashionable, the truth of the matter is that the EP-100 earphones from dB Logic prove quite well that such a combination is possible.

Without a doubt, the main selling point these audio accessories have in store is the fact that they integrate dB Logic’s SPL2 technology to help protect users from long-term hearing damage.

This is possible by regulating volume as needed while keeping musical content largely unchanged (of course, only an ears-on experience can prove just how “unchanged” the quality of the audio really is).

Furthermore, in order to ensure the fact that users are able to opt for the design that best suites their tastes (the EP-100 target mostly teens and young adults), the earphones are available in several fashionable colors, including Quick Silver, Big Apple Red, Barracuda Blue, Valentine Pink, Shamrock Green, and Tiger Orange.

“MP3 players and other portable audio devices are very popular, especially among young people and teenagers. dB Logic EP-100 earphones are designed to work with these products and help protect hearing, without sacrificing audio quality or style,” said Med Dyer, co-founder and chief technology officer at dB Logic.

“According to the American Academy of Audiology, approximately 12 percent of all children ages 6-19 have noise induced hearing loss. We are excited to offer a product that will allow consumers to enjoy their music while at the same time help to avoid hearing damage from loud volumes,” the company's CTO concluded.

It's also interesting to see that maintaining one's hearing at top levels doesn't necessarily come at a very high price, given the fact that the dB Logic EP-100 earphones sell for just around US$29.99.
