14 DAY TRIAL // Even though Supercell, the studio behind smash hit Clash of Clans, was expected to release their new game Clash Royale in February, the company has announced that it won't be until next month that the global launch will occur.
We reported earlier this year that Supercell soft-launched Clash Royale for iOS and that the studio will release an Android version at some point as well.
Several days ago, developers outed a major update for Clash Royale on the iOS platform, making things even more interesting and exciting for players lucky to have access to the game.
As mentioned earlier, soon after the release of the update many believed Supercell is readying its game for a global launch, but a few days later the studio came forward with an official statement on its blog.
Well, there's not much of a statement but more like a short confirmation of the fact that Clash Royale will be launched globally on both Android and iOS platforms in March. Once again, Supercell is a bit mysterious, as the studio did not mention the exact release date of the game.
Play an RTS, MOBA, and CCG game at the same time
The good news is Clash Royale lives up to Supercell's notoriety in the mobile games market. It's a different type of game that mixes real-time strategy, MOBA, and CCG (collectible card game) elements, so there's a little bit of everything for everyone.
Naturally, Clash Royale is a multiplayer game in which players will have to create their deck of cards to beat their opponents in 1 vs. 1 matches.
Players can collect and upgrade dozens of cards featuring the Clash of Clans troops, spells, and defenses. Also, winning games will reward you with chests that contain powerful new cards.
Developers also confirmed that most of the cards can be upgraded, but players can also build spells and defenses, as well as their favorite Clash troops.
Another major gameplay feature announced by the developer is the ability to form a Clan to share cards and build you own battle community.
