The folks over at Supercell just released what appears to be the biggest Clash of Clans update since the game's release on Android and iOS platforms. This is the same update that we talked about back in October, teased by developers at “ClashCon.”

The main highlight of the update is Town Hall 11, which should be a welcomed addition since most hardcore players have already maxed out their town hall buildings.

There's also a new Grand Warden hero and new defense Eagle Artillery, which are among the most powerful and strategic additions ever, developers claim. Defense levels, new troop levels and Clan Spell donation are among the new features included in this update.

But let's see what some of these new additions mean for players. Well, with Town Hall 11, you will be able to build defense Eagle Artillery, which should wreak havoc among enemy troops from afar.

The Town Hall 11 hero Grand Warden can make your armies almost invincible. The new upgrade also provides players with additional levels for Minion, Witch, Wizard Tower and many more.

More defense options are now available

Players also get access to more defense options, including an extra Cannon, Archer Tower, Wizard Tower and X-Bow.

Supercell also made some changes regarding Shield, which will no longer be granted by the Town Hall's destruction. However, players will be able to attack while shielded at any time for just a small Shield reduction.

Also, you will be able to get Shield at 30% destruction, more at 60%, but only when a sizable army attacks. So, these are all the Shield-related changes included in this update.

There are literally dozens of gameplay balancing changes, as well as other improvements and bug fixes that have been confirmed by developers. We have attached the full changelog of the biggest Clash of Clans update ever at the bottom of the article.
