14 DAY TRIAL // Now it's a good time to be a Clash of Clans addict, as developer Supercell has recently shown the new features the game will get in the next major update.
Although we don't have an exact release date for this update, we believe the next big update for Clash of Clans will be launched in the next couple of weeks.
During “ClashCon” that recently took place in Helsinki, Finland, developer Supercell unveiled some of the new gameplay features that will be included in the said update.
One of the most important additions is the new Town Hall 11 upgrade, which doesn't really come as a surprise since most veteran players already have their Town Hall building upgraded to level 10.
The new improvement will be a great addition to the game, so players should expect to get that in the next update.
Prepare your most powerful attack units because Defense is coming
Another important feature that will make its debut with the next major update is Defense. The new feature is explained in a short video, but here is a quick recap of what it does.
Defense can attack both ground and air troops, and deals with area splash damage. In order to overcome it, attackers will have to use more powerful units than usual.
According to a new report, Supercell also teased a new hero, but for the time being there are no additional details on him whatsoever.
Furthermore, all the maps in the game have been increased to 44x44, which means players will have more space for their buildings.
These are the most important changes you can expect in the next major update for Clash of Clans, which is supposed to arrive in the next few weeks.
