Jocelyn Wildenstein, dubbed Catwoman in the press, is 75 years old but you wouldn’t be able to tell by looking at her. Neither would you be able to get an impression of how she looked in her younger years, because her addiction to plastic surgery has turned her into the Number 1 poster child for plastic surgery gone wrong.

This is why she doesn’t make many public appearances, because when she does step out, the world stops and collectively gasps. She always makes for an arresting sight and is a walking alarm signal that you should never get too carried away with surgery.

Jocelyn steps out with 48-year-old boyfriend

Wildenstein hasn’t been spotted out by the paparazzi since June 2015: her public appearances are rare and far in between, as noted above. However, earlier this week, she and her 48-year-old boyfriend came out for an art exhibit in New York, the Daily Mail reports.

You can see photos from the occasion above, and the British tabloid has more of them.

Jocelyn and Lloyd Klein color-coordinated for Jean-Yves Klein’s Chimeras Exhibition at Gallery Molly Krom in New York. They posed for pictures together, but also with the artist and public relations maven Matt Rich, both of whom had accompanied them.

Jocelyn and Lloyd have been together for about 6 years, with buzz online saying that they share a love for plastic surgery. However, while his work could be deemed subtle compared to hers, her face now looks like a mask.

Fear of divorce and wanting more “feline” features

Rumor has it that Wildenstein spent an estimated $4 million (€3.5 million), which included several facelifts, extensive eye work, facial reshaping, implants and countless sessions of fillers and Botox.

Her addiction to plastic surgery began when she was still married to billionaire Alec Wildenstein, reportedly because she was afraid he might leave her if she started showing signs of old age. He eventually did: he cheated on her and she found out.

She was fascinated by cats (and remains so to this day), so she continued getting work done even after the divorce, which was a prolonged and bitter affair. At the end of it, though, in 1997, she walked away with an instant reported payoff of $2.5 billion (€2.2 billion) and $100 million (€88 million) a year for the next 13 years.

The $4 million (€3.5 million) she spent on plastic surgery is a drop in the ocean, but the results are nothing to scoff at: Jocelyn Wildenstein is the world’s Number 1 poster child for plastic surgery gone horribly wrong.
