14 DAY TRIAL // The Bride of Wildenstein, as famous plastic surgery addict / victim Jocelyn Wildenstein has been dubbed in the media, has broken her cover on a very rare public outing. The good news is that she and designer Lloyd Klein are still together.
The bad news is that the world has been reminded again of the dangers and the pitfalls of plastic surgery, especially if done in excess, out of a desire to look like something no man or woman should want to resemble, i.e. an exotic cat.
Jocelyn Wildenstein is 74, the worst case of plastic surgery gone wrong
Jocelyn’s story is as famous as her face, because she’s the perfect example of how some rich people in showbiz live in their own bubble and feed with nothing but deception, for which they pay impossibly high amounts of money.
She married millionaire Alec Wildenstein when she was still very young and very pretty, and because he had this thing for wild cats, she decided to turn to plastic surgery to get a more exotic look as well.
Over the years, the media gleefully documented her transition until she became the poster-child for bad plastic surgery. Over the years, she is believed to have spent over $4 million (€3.56 million) on more procedures than we could count, which included several face lifts, several eye interventions meant to alter their shape, fillers, shaving of bones and insertions of implants.
All that turned out to be for nothing, because Wildenstein still left her in 1997, but at least she took him to the cleaners. The Daily Mail says that, in the divorce settlement, she got an initial $2.5 billion (€2.2 billion) divorce settlement, and an additional $100 million (€89 million) each year for 13 years after.
The only condition was that she wouldn’t use alimony payments to pay for more plastic surgery. The divorce was a massive scandal at the time, mostly because she walked in on her husband with a Russian model and, when she started yelling at him, he pulled a gun on her.
Jocelyn and Klein are still going strong
The aforementioned British publication has photos of Jocelyn on her latest public outing, on the arm of her boyfriend Klein, whom she’s been seeing for a few years now. You can also see one of the pictures snapped on the occasion attached to this article.
Clearly, Klein is no stranger to plastic surgery either, so that would explain why Jocelyn looks as if she’s had even more work done, compared to the last time she was seen in public, sometime in April 2011.
At this point, she could be 100 years old and you still wouldn’t be able to tell it by looking at her face because it’s impossibly tight and plump.
