14 DAY TRIAL // In just two days, Google will host an important event to introduce two of its upcoming smartphones, the Pixel and Pixel XL. Specs of the two devices have been leaking for some time now and even 3D renders have made their way on the Internet.
But Bell Canada took it a little bit further and revealed images of a white Pixel smartphone and the black color variant of Pixel XL. As the images show, the two smartphones will have a similar design, with Pixel XL carrying a larger display - of 5.5 inches - when compared to Pixel, which has a screen size of 5 inches.
The listing only reveals the front side of the smartphones, but it's enough to see what you can expect from Google's new handsets. Interestingly, the page showing the white Pixel seems to have been designed for orders for the Samsung Note 7, which means that Bell's website is quite buggy at this point.
Google Pixel and Pixel XL will run Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box
The accidental listing of Google's phones was pointed out by Steve Hemmerstoffer on Twitter. The pages don't reveal any specs for the upcoming phones and they have the same text, urging customers to order the Pixel or Pixel XL today.
There's also a form for ordering the smartphones and a big error message on the page, suggesting that there has been some issue with the website and orders can't actually be processed at this time.
Nevertheless, the leaked images confirm that Pixel and Pixel XL will run Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box, and they also reveal the Pixel Launcher on the home screen. Google will announce the two smartphones on October 4 and we expect them to be available for orders immediately in the US and Canada.
Rumors say that prices for the two phones could start at $649, but that remains to be seen. Google has been heavily promoting the upcoming event with statues, billboards, and even a promotional video.
