14 DAY TRIAL // Calvin Harris is very upset with reports that he and girlfriend of almost 7 months, Taylor Swift, are no longer a couple. He seems to have taken offense in particular with a rumor saying that he got dumped because he visited a seedy Thai massage parlor a while back.
Paparazzi were waiting for him outside, so within minutes, the story online was that he had visited the place to get a “happy ending.” He might be suing “everybody” who ran with the story, according to his latest tweet.
Calvin Harris won’t stand for this, bye bye
Though this report has been around for a while, Harris didn’t find it that infuriating until it was linked to his so-called breakup from Taylor, who, allegedly, was furious to find out that he had done this to her - and get busted whilst doing it!
In his most recent tweet, the DJ warns that, “It’s not going to be a ‘happy ending’ for everyone I sue for defamation of character for all these bull[expletive] stories bye bye.” Taylor favorited the tweet, so she’s behind him on this 100%.
People Magazine chimes in to say that there is no truth to the rumor that the two have broken up (or are on a break), citing a source as saying that “They are happy and going strong.”
Harris’ recent activity on social media is also a solid hint that there isn’t any truth to the breakup story, favoriting Taylor’s most recent tweets and Instagram photos, and messages from her fans that proclaim him a lucky guy for getting to date such a beautiful woman.
Fighting the good fight on social media
Even before he started dating Taylor, Calvin had made a habit out of fighting his fights on social media. When his split from Rita Ora turned nasty over a song he wouldn’t let her perform in public because he had written and produced it, he ripped into her on Twitter.
When Zayn Malik, ex-One Direction member, reposted a meme that showed the difference between Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift as artists, and put the former in a favorable light, he was there to try and put Zayn down.
In neither circumstance did he come out looking like the good guy, but he seems to have achieved that with his most recent post. If not, at least he let the world know that he and Taylor are still a couple.
