The leaked information about the coming new installment in the Call of Duty series is increasing by the day and it seems that a look at the cover has not been shared with the public ahead of the official announcement of Infinite Warfare, showing that a Legacy Edition of the title will be offered and will allow gamers to get remastered versions of Modern Warfare installments in the franchise.

The information comes from the Reddit associated with the series and seems to also show that the first-person shooter is set to be launched on November 4 of this year.

As always, the teams at developer Infinity Ward and publisher Activision have not reacted to the new leak and will probably continue to be quiet about the video game until May 3 when a source claims that the new Call of Duty will be officially shown to the public for the first time.

The November 4 date for the launch of Infinite Warfare is a little suspicious, given that if falls on a Friday, but the publisher in charge of the series has the power to launch a title globally on whatever day it wants.

The fact that the new title might deliver remastered versions of the first or both the Modern Warfare has been well received by the player community, with some commenting that they will spend most of their time with the older title rather than the new one.

The new Call of Duty might make the move to space

The only rumor about the setting and the gameplay of the coming Infinity Ward created video game states that space battles will be a central part of the experience and that it will take place in the far future, giving the studio access to a wide array of unique weapons and items.

Infinite Warfare, if this is the official name, will be launched on the PlayStation 4 from Sony, the Xbox One from Microsoft and the PC.

A May 3 official reveal might give Activision a month to offer small details about the new Call of Duty before it makes the multiplayer playable during the coming E3 2016 event in June.

Before the launch of the coming game, the company and Treyarch are also set to deliver two new downloadable content packs for the already available Black Ops 3 while the new Eclipse also has to arrive on the PC and the Xbox One.
