Video game developer Treyarch and publisher Activision have already revealed that they will deliver an updated version of the classic Der Riese zombie map in the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and the companies are now ready to offer fans of the franchise a look at the tweaked experience.

The footage offers a close to 3-minute-long look at the environments and the enemies that gamers will have to deal with in The Giant, which will take place in a Nazi research facility that allows gamers to access the Pack-a-Punch Machine to improve  their weapons.

They will need all the help they get as they seek to pick up "Zombies story with Dempsey, Nikolai, Richtofen, and Takeo where Origins left off."

Presumably, more details about the remake will be offered in the coming months.

The Giant for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is just a bonus and the core undead experience for the first-person shooter will introduce an entirely cooperative campaign built around the idea, called Shadows of Evil.

The remade Der Riese map will be offered to those who get one of the three special versions of the title, including Juggernog, Hardened and Digital Deluxe, which are all available for pre-order at the moment.

Treyarch is taking the undead killing action to the past

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will deliver a single-player campaign and a competitive multiplayer which will focus on 2065, a period when changes in genetic manipulation and advancements in technology allow soldiers to execute some superhuman feats.

But the undead cooperative mode will be very different in its approach and will allow gamers to take control of one of four characters, each of them with a unique personality and abilities, in a version of the 1940's which is influenced by film noir ideas.

Treyarch has said that it has tweaked the enemies and the environments in order to make the experience more engaging for fans and more accessible for those who are new to the series.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be launched on November 6 and can be played on the PC, the Xbox One from Microsoft, the PlayStation 4 from Sony, and older home consoles.
