Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is just one week away from its launch date, and the development team at Treyarch and publisher Activision are delivering a new live-action trailer to celebrate the occasion. The new video is designed to show off the way the multiplayer modes of the first-person shooter will bring out the soldier in all those who pick up the title.

Direction for the close to two-minute-long footage is signed by McClammy, and the trailer also features appearances from rising actor Michael B. Jordan, supermodel Cara Delevingne, and football player Marshawn Lynch.

The concept for the live-action Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 launch trailer focuses on an average gamer named Kevin, who manages to execute some impressive moves to take out powerful Specialists and mechs.

As with all promotional efforts for the shooter, the production values are really impressive, with the team in charge at Activision managing to show how hectic and intense the multiplayer action can be.

Treyarch has already said that it wants to offer a series of experiences that appeal both to long-term fans of the series and to newcomers, providing them with a chance to quickly jump in and simply get some kills but also to explore the depth of the various mechanics in order to perform at the highest level.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will arrive on the PC, the Xbox One, and the PlayStation 4 worldwide on November 6.

Gamers can also pick it up on older home consoles, but the title will lack the single-player campaign because of technical limitations.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 might include Nightmares mode

Treyarch and Activision have offered a lot of details about the various experiences that will be featured in the shooter, but rumors are suggesting that yet another secret mode will be revealed in the coming days.

Nightmares is apparently linked to the Shadows of Evil undead campaign and will be available for those who manage to complete all the single-player missions with their friends.

Presumably, it will involve a series of battles with an increased difficulty level that will challenge even the most capable players.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 aims to offer the largest variety of experiences of any title in the franchise.

The single-player is set in Singapore in 2065 and will explore how powerful operatives enhanced by tech and genetics are able to change the way warfare is prosecuted.

The Shadows of Evil zombie campaign will take gamers to a noir version of the '40s that will ask four very different characters to work together to stop the undead assault, which includes some very powerful bosses.

When it comes to the defining multiplayer of the franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will introduce Specialists, each of them featuring a unique power and weapon that will make it easier to jump right into the action.

All the modes will rely on the new movement system from Treyarch, which allows gamers to explore levels in interesting ways in order to surprise enemies.
