Since making her public debut on the cover of Vanity Fair at the beginning of the month, Caitlyn Jenner has been keeping a relatively low profile, which is understandable: she’s got a new docuseries premiering on E! next month and she can’t be too “present” before it debuts.

In turn, this means that when she does step out in the spotlight, she gets maximum attention, like it happened some hours ago, when she broke her Twitter silence to post a photo of her very special Father’s Day.

Caitlyn and the sweet family portrait

You can see the pic in question below. Rumor has it that Caitlyn (formerly Bruce Jenner) has told her youngest daughters Kendall and Kylie, who are having the most trouble with her transition, that they can still call her “dad.”

This comes despite the fact that Caitlyn is now living as a woman and will undergo gender reassignment surgery soon. According to some reports, she may have already had it.

The report seems to be confirmed by Kendall’s sweet message on Instagram, sent out on Father’s Day, in which she says the “beautiful soul” who has been her hero all her life will continue to be her father, whether man or woman. You can see her message too below.

Back to Caitlyn’s photo, as you can see, it includes step-daughter Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West, with baby girl North, front and center. Also featured are Khloe and Kendall, Brandon and his pregnant wife, and Burt and his girlfriend Valerie.

This was a rare occasion when children from Bruce’s different marriages came together. Notably absent is ex-wife Kris Jenner, who is believed to be the least supportive of Caitlyn’s transition. If anything, Caitlyn’s Vanity Fair interview, in which she blamed Kris for being too selfish and not at all understanding, which forced her to deny her true identity for years, only made the rift between them bigger.

Kim has been the most supportive of the transition

From her first interview, with Diane Sawyer for ABC in April, Caitlyn was very clear on one thing: as much as the world wants to hate Kim Kardashian and the things she stands for, she was surprisingly supportive of the transition.

In the recent E! 2-part special Keeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce, Kim even helped Caitlyn pick a wardrobe and a glam squad, and even agreed to share stylists with her for a while.

As this photo shows, she continues to be there for Caitlyn. Even husband Kanye has been very supportive of everything, and actually managed to break out a rare smile for this special occasion.

my whole life this soul was my daddy and just because your appearance is different now doesn't mean you were any less of a father to me my entire life. happy Father's Day to the person who raised me, and taught me everything I know, my hero.
