Contrary to recent reports that claimed that Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, had grown tired and disgusted with life in the spotlight again and would not return for a new season of I Am Cait, this is exactly what she’ll be doing.

E! News confirms that the docuseries, which premiered this year, has been picked up by E! for a second season. A premiere date is yet to be announced, but it’s probably safe to assume it won’t be sooner than 2016.

In a statement, Caitlyn says she’s happy she will continue the “conversation,” which means the series will keep its format, of showing Caitlyn adjust to her “new normal” as a woman, while growing into the role that’s been assigned to her, of a “hero” for the LGBT community.

“Caitlyn's story has ignited a global conversation on the transgender community on a scale that has never been seen before,” Jeff Olde, EVP of Programming and Development at E!, says. “We are honored Caitlyn has chosen to continue to share her ongoing story with our viewers around the world.”

The docuseries came on the heels of Bruce’s coming out as trans-woman on a Diane Sawyer special and the Vanity Fair cover introducing Caitlyn a short while later. After years of seeing Bruce on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, this was the first time when Caitlyn could show her true self to the cameras.

Topics up for discussion included important LGBT issues like reaching out to victims of bullying and visiting trans-youth, but also “girlie” stuff like playing golf with breast implants, choosing to right swimsuit and dating.
