After announcing the cheapest Quad HD smartphone, the Pure XL, US-based handset maker BLU Products confirmed the upcoming availability of yet another Android handset, the Vivo Air LTE.

According to BLU, the Vivo Air LTE is the thinnest 4G LTE smartphone soon to be available in the United States. Speaking of which, the device will go on sale via Amazon on September 22.

Potential customers may want to know that the BLU Vivo Air LTE has been priced at only $200 outright. It will be available in both black and white color options.

“The BLU Vivo Air LTE is the most striking and remarkably beautiful smartphone device in the market today. Everyone who sees this phone will stop and be amazed at the unique work of art which is displayed,” said Samuel Ohev-Zion, CEO of BLU Products.

BLU Vivo Air LTE is only 5.1mm thick and weighs just 97g (battery included), which also makes it the lightest 4G LTE smartphone in the United States.

The device comes preloaded with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box and sports a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution.

Make sure you check LTE coverage in your region

The Vivo Air LTE is equipped with a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. Unfortunately, the smartphone lacks microSD card slot for memory expansion.

On the back, LTE's affordable mid-range smartphone packs an 8-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, while in the front there's a 5-megapixel selfie camera.

BLU Vivo Air LTE features LTE connectivity, which supports T-Mobile and AT&T's networks. It's also worth mentioning that the smartphone is powered by a 2,050 mAh battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer.
