14 DAY TRIAL // US-based handset maker BLU has just announced what appears to be the cheapest Quad HD smartphone soon to be available on the market, the Pure XL.
BLU Pure XL will be available for purchase in the United States on September 29 for only $350, which makes it a great deal for Android fans considering its specs.
The Pure XL is the most powerful smartphone ever launched by BLU Products and, as mentioned earlier, the cheapest Quad HD phone.
According to BLU, the flagship smartphone will be showcased at the 2015 CTIA Super Mobility Event in Las Vegas between September 9-11, but it won't go on sale until later this month.
The handset will come preloaded with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box and it will be available in two color options, Gray and Gold.
Hardware-wise, the smartphone will be equipped with a 64-bit 2.0GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6795 Helio X10 processor and 3GB of RAM.
Also, the Pure XL will pack no less than 64GB of storage inside, but users will be able to further expand storage up to 128GB via microSD card.
Fingerprint reader and a large battery
The flagship handset will boast a stunning 6-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating.
On the back, BLU Pure XL had been confirmed to pack a 24-megapixel photo snapper with f/2.3 aperture, 6-element lens, autofocus, LED flash and video recording, while in the front there's an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera.
The smartphone will be powered by a 3,500 mAh battery with quick charging and it will feature fingerprint reader.
In the connectivity front, the Pure XL offers 4G LTE support, along with other options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB 2.0, GPS with AGPS and NFC (Near Field Communication).
