It looks like the BlackBerry Priv saga is about to end since the smartphone is expected to go on pre-order later today. This doesn't come as a surprise since the Priv has been recently spotted at FCC (Federal Communications Commission).

We reported to you yesterday that Priv was briefly listed on BlackBerry's webstore along with its price and shipping date.

According to those details, BlackBerry Priv should cost in the United States no less than $750 outright and it should start to ship on November 16.

As mentioned earlier, the Priv has just received FCC's certification and from the documents listed at the regulatory commission it looks like there will be three versions of the smartphone launched on the market.

They are codenamed STV100-1, STV100-3 and STV100-4, but additional models might be available for pre-order later today.

Speaking of which, BlackBerry's COO Marty Bear has recently confirmed that the Priv will be available for pre-order on Friday.

Three Priv variants have been listed at FCC

The Priv variant listed on BlackBerry's webstore a few days ago was not compatible with Verizon, Sprint and US Cellular, but one of the models that appeared at FCC should work with these carriers.

We already know pretty much everything there is to know about BlackBerry Priv's specs sheet, so here is a quick rundown of what it has to offer.

First of all, the smartphone features a slide form factor and ships with Android Lollipop operating system right out of the box.

Also, it boasts a 5.4-inch display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution that features Corning Gorilla Glass 4 coating.

On the inside, the smartphone is equipped with a 64-bit 1.8GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, an Adreno 418 graphics processing unit and 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of storage inside, which can be further expanded up to 2TB via microSD card slot.

Another strong point of BlackBerry Priv is the high-capacity 3,410 mAh battery, which should provide users with up to 22.5 hours of continuous usage.
