The sequel to the little gem called Ni no Kuni, the JRPG developed by Japanese studio Level-5, has been confirmed to land on PlayStation 4 sometime next year.

The announcement made over the weekend at PlayStation Experience 2016 came alongside a short trailer that shows some of the characters present in the game.

In Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, players will continue they fight against the dark armies, as King Evan Pettiwhisker Tildrum is usurped from the throne and sets out to reclaim his kingdom.

Roland, a visitor from another world will help the king in his attempt to regain the throne, but players will meet a few other recruitable characters. Aside from these tidbits from the video trailer, nothing else has been revealed about the upcoming game.
