Video game publisher Bandai Namco is ready to announce that it will deliver two long-awaited sequels during the coming year, allowing fans of two of its biggest franchises to get access to complex games that will use the power of next-gen consoles.

An internal studio in Tokyo, Japan, is currently working on Ace Combat 7, which is designed to be played on the PlayStation 4 from Sony and will deliver a new take on the familiar concept of the series.

The company promises photorealistic visuals, a deep story that will attract fans of the series and a new set of mechanics that will make the dogfights more exciting than before.

Ace Combat 7 will include both a classic campaign and multiplayer battles sustained by an online progression system, and the developers are also planning to introduce a new level of realism by making sure that the title works on the PlayStation virtual reality solution.

So far the studio has not talked about the way it will improve the franchise and whether it will aim to attract newcomers or will focus on long-term fans of the franchise, but the engine used will be the most recent version of Unreal.

Herve Hoerdt, vice president of marketing at Bandai Namco, states, "It’s no small feat for any video game franchise to thrive over two decades; Ace Combat's legacy lies in its tremendous quality and deep storytelling. With Ace Combat 7, we are planning on dominating the skies once again and delivering an unparalleled experience thanks to the PlayStation 4 technologies and our team experience with their know-how!"

At the moment, the game does not have an official launch date and more details will be offered when 2016 rolls around.

Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is created by Level 5, will deliver unique experience

The game is designed to be a direct sequel to the very successful Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, which has managed to deliver more than 1.9 million units worldwide and managed to secure no less than 150 awards.

The Level 5 team and Bandai Namco are saying that they are planning to deliver a new take on the unique universe.

The narrative is designed to follow a king that has been thrown out from his castle and needs to explore the world to get the power required to win it back.

He is aided by a visitor from another world, and many of the familiar concepts of the universe will be featured although it is unclear whether characters will return from The White Witch.

At the moment no information has been offered on the mechanics of Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom and on the way gamers will be immersed in the fantasy universe.

Hervw Hoerdt claims that the game will be irreplaceable in the mind of all gamers who have experienced the first installment in the series.

The experience will only be offered on the PlayStation 4 from Sony and once again more information will be offered in 2016.
