Good news for AT&T customers who purchase the Microsoft Lumia 950, as the Redmond-based giant has just kicked off the rollout of Windows 10 Mobile build 10586.107 for these particular handsets.

Last week, the update was released for unlocked smartphones that come with Windows 10 Mobile right out of the box, so AT&T users who own the Lumia 950 have been skipped from the initial rollout of Windows 10 Mobile build 10586.107.

However, the folks over at WindowsCentral report that AT&T Lumia 950 are now eligible for this update, so if you have the carrier-branded smartphone, you might want to check for a new OS upgrade.

Speaking of which, this OS upgrade does not come with a firmware update as well, even though unlocked Windows 10 Mobile phones outside the US received a few of these in the last several weeks.

If you don't know what the new Windows 10 Mobile build 10586.107 brings to your Lumia 950, here is a quick recap of what changes Microsoft has implemented.

Lots of improvements and bug fixes, but no new features

First of all, it's worth mentioning that the update contains improvements and bug fixes, but no new features. Microsoft announced that build 10586.107 should bring many reliability and stability improvements.

Among these improvements, developers confirmed Bluetooth connectivity enhancements with car and other accessories have been implemented, along with Microsoft Edge improvements to PDF rendering and navigation.

Other improvements for battery usage with Iris Recognition for Windows Hello should be available to, as well as update system improvements to fix a situation where some users had phone software updates and app downloads stuck at 0% for extended time periods.

Microsoft also confirmed a change to the update system that will now require the phone to be plugged into a charger when downloading and preparing phone software updates.

A few fixes are included too, such as a fix for a problem causing erroneous low storage prompts for some users when trying to download phone software updates.

Also, a problem that caused erroneous prompts of Outlook account settings being out-of-date for some users, although account settings had not been changed should be fixed now, as well as the problem that caused some phones to get stuck on BitLocker Recovery screen after a reset.
