14 DAY TRIAL // The Asus ZenFone Max 3 is a pretty decent smartphone, which was officially unveiled back in the summer, but never actually made its debut in the United States. But now that the winter is coming, Asus has decided that its affordable Android smartphone would make a great gift for those who wish to buy such a phone.

As mentioned earlier, the ZenFone 3 Max is a pretty decent device that comes with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system right out of the box. We doubt it will be updated to Nougat, but anything is possible, especially that the phone was announced this year.
Spec-wise, Asus' mid-range phone sports a 5.2-inch display that supports HD (720p) resolution and features a 75% screen-to-body ratio, as well as 400 nits brightness.
On the inside, the ZenFone Max 3 packs a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor, along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory (expandable via microSD card). It features dual cameras with 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back and a secondary 5-megapixel selfie camera in the front.
Asus also added a fingerprint sensor on the back side, which is positioned right below the main camera. You can also swipe the fingerprint sensor to take a picture, a gesture that's been implemented by Google inside its Pixel phones.
Another major highlight of the phone would be the impressive 4,100 mAh battery that should provide up to 18 hours of Wi-Fi web browsing, Asus claims.
If you plan to buy the Asus ZenFone Max 3, then you should know that this is the unlocked version of the smartphone, so while it will work on AT&T and T-Mobile networks, it's not compatible with Sprint and Verizon.
It's also worth mentioning that the smartphone comes with two SIM slots, one for microSIM and one for nanoSIM, which can only be used to add a microSD card.
