Assassin's Creed: Syndicate has not received as much pre-launch publicity as other titles in the series, but the development team in charge of it at Ubisoft is ready to deliver some more details on the unique skills that the main characters will be able to use in their quest to rid London of the plague of Templars.

A new article on the official site explains that the two twins are very different in their approach to dangerous situation, with Jacob focused on the application of brute force while Evie aims for a little more subtlety.

The male protagonist of Assassin's Creed: Syndicate will be able to learn a Gunslinger II skill, which allows him to deliver headshots every time he fires a countershot at an enemy.

He also has access to a third level for defense, which allows him to take much less damage overall when exposed to attack, with the two previous upgrades in the same line also offering specific decreases for melee and ranged strikes.

The straight named Mutilate II for Jacob allows him to set up powerful attacks that quickly reduce the health of enemies and can be chained to deal with groups.

Assassin's Creed: Syndicate aims to give gamers as many options as possible

For Evie gamers can get access to Chameleon, which makes her almost impossible to detect if she stays still while in Sneak Mode, unless the enemies come very close to her position.

Ubisoft explains that, "This is actually for the benefit of the Animus user. While holding still, Evie doesn’t actually become invisible, but she will appear as such to let you know she is, in fact, blending."

A second level for Knife Master makes the female protagonist able to move twice the number of throwing knives her brother has and to deliver more damage when using them.

Stealth III gives Evie an additional 11 points when it comes to sneaking, which means that she makes very little noise even when she is assassinating enemies at close range.

The coming game will take gamers to XIX century London, during the Industrial Revolution, delivering a bigger world than any other previous entry and a range of new mechanics.

Assassin's Creed: Syndicate will be offered on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 on October 23 while PC gamers will have to wait for it until November 19.
