The development team at Ubisoft working on Assassin's Creed: Syndicate wants to make crafting a more central element of the open world title, offering gamers a range of options when it comes to the creation of new pieces of gear that can significantly improve the performance of main characters Jacob and Evie.

In an official site update, the studio explains that gamers will be able to pick up resources in chests all around the world and as rewards for missions, with a special Scavenger ability offered for those who want to focus on this aspect of the title.

Those who have more than they can use on their own character can dedicate the extra stuff to their gang.

Ubisoft says that the Rooks can get stronger and use new weapons if they get access to certain resources, and there are also options to sabotage Templars or to bribe officials if they have money to spare.

Apparently, the rarest of resources will ask gamers to go on certain missions or to improve their relationships with associates, of which Ned Wynert seems to be particularly interested in delivering rewards for those who engage in his side missions.

Assassin's Creed: Syndicate will support extensive customization

Both main characters will be able to choose the weapons they want to use, the particular design of the classic gauntlet, the outfits they wear, and the color of all the gear.

Jacob will also have a choice of belts, which will offer defense and stealth bonuses, while Evie will get the same from a range of capes.

Ubisoft also says that some of the unique pieces of gear in Assassin's Creed: Syndicate will be exclusively offered as rewards through its Club, which is linked to the uPlay account of each player.

The development team adds, "Skills are broken into three categories: Stealth, Combat and Ecosystem. Stealth and Combat skills include combo boosts, Lockpicking and health upgrades. Ecosystem skills will revolve around the world and affect things like Eagle Vision, carriages, and your Rooks."

Assassin's Creed: Syndicate will be delivered on October 23 on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One and on November 19 for those who want to play on the PC.
