14 DAY TRIAL // Apple seeded today the first beta of the next iOS 12.3, macOS Mojave 10.14.5, and tvOS 12.3 operating system updates to registered developers via the Apple Developer portal.
The iOS 12.3 beta (16F5117h), macOS Mojave 10.14.5 beta (18F96h), and tvOS 12.3 beta (16M5117f) are now available for download and installation on supported devices if you're an application developer registered in the Apple Developer portal, from where you can install the beta profiles corresponding to the OS you want to install.
These new beta versions come just two days after Apple released the iOS 12.2, macOS Mojave 10.14.4, and tvOS 12.2 software updates and are intended only for installation on devices dedicated to beta software development. The first public beta of iOS 12.3, macOS Mojave 10.14.5, and tvOS 12.3 should also be available shortly.
Apple TV Software 7.3 beta now available for Apple TV 3rd Gen
Also today, Apple released the first beta version of its upcoming Apple TV Software 7.3 for use with the 3rd generation Apple TV devices. Apple TV Software restore images are available for installation via iTunes. tvOS 12.3 beta is only available for Apple TV 4K or 4th generation Apple TV, now known as Apple TV HD.
Apple didn't publish any release notes for the iOS 12.3 beta, macOS Mojave 10.14.5 beta, nor for tvOS 12.3 beta, but we know these new versions bring the features Apple promised during its "It's Show Time" spring event, such as the revamped Apple TV app for Apple TV, iPhone, and iPad devices, and Macs, as well as Apple TV Channels for Apple TVs.
Meanwhile, the watchOS 5.2 operating system remains in beta testing as final release is imminent. We expect Apple to release the final watchOS 5.2 operating system tomorrow, along with the first beta versions of watchOS 5.3. We'll update this story when the public betas are out too.
