A complete redux of the LG G5 design-wise

The LG G6 is just around the corner, but until the South Korean company reveals the smartphone, pictures of the flagship continue to surface online.

After the first press render of the LG G6 shown the upper half of the phone, another picture of a prototype unit leaked a few days ago. Now a third live photo of the device has been posted online.

The picture was received by Business Insider and published recently, so that everyone can take a quick peek at what's to come from LG. There's no doubt that this is indeed the company's next flagship smartphone since it's got the LG G6 logo on the back side.

Another aspect that we confirmed since the picture of the prototype unit leaked earlier this week is the positioning of the fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone. LG is no stranger to this specific design, so those who have previously purchased the company's flagships will feel right at home using the G6.

No modular design, glossy black finish

Also, the image confirms, once again, that the LG G6 will pack a dual-lens camera and a dual-LED flash in between the image sensors. Unfortunately, we're not given a look at the front of the smartphone, so we're not sure if it will indeed features a bezel-less design.

However, based on previous reports, the LG G6 will feature a much better screen-to-body aspect ratio than its predecessor, the G5.

The unit in the picture shows a glossy back variant, but we can safely assume LG will launch a couple of other color options along with the black one.

The top and bottom side of the phone are hidden from view, so we can't confirm or deny that the LG G6 will include both USB Type C port and 3.5mm audio jack.

LG has already confirmed its launch event for Mobile World Congress (MWC) will take place on February 26, so if you're a fan of the company you should definitely tune in since the press conference will be streamed live.
