Given the fact that the GeForce GTX GTX 560 Ti from NVIDIA comes with plenty of overclocking headroom, Zotac, one of the best-known NVIDIA card manufacturing partners, has decided to push it to its limits and thus developed the GeForce GTX 560 Ti AMP! Edition, that takes this configuration to whole new level of performance.

The AMP! Edition has its engine clocked at 950 MHz and comes packed with 384 unified shaders clocked at 1900 MHz, as well as 1GB of DDR5 memory with a 256-bit memory interface and a 4400 MHz memory clock.

Plus, should users want to push the card's limits even further, they'll be able to easily do so with the help of the Boost software, bundled with the sales package.

The card comes equipped with dual dual-link DVI-I & mini-HDMI 1.4a outputs, and, similar to most other video cards out there, it installs on the PCI Express 2.0 interface (Compatible with 1.1).

Furthermore, the device is Microsoft DirectX 11 & OpenGL 4.1 compatible, as well as NVIDIA CUDA, 3D Vision Surround & SLI ready, although this shouldn't come as much of a surprise, given the fact that all of the other GeForce GTX 560 Ti models offer the same features.

ZOTAC strives to deliver a quality gaming experience with all of our products. With the GeForce GTX 560 Ti AMP! Edition we wanted to maximize performance without sacrificing visual quality or stability for our end users,” said Carsten Berger, marketing director, ZOTAC International.

“After carefully tuning the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 580 AMP! Edition, we are able to deliver the highest clock speeds capable of passing our rigorous DirectX 11 testing procedure without a single graphical artifact.”

The ZOTAC GeForce GTX 580 AMP! Edition is available for pre-order in Europe at around 264 Euro, which is actually not at all a bad price point, all things considered, especially since an Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood download voucher will be bundled with the card.
