14 DAY TRIAL // Famous Korean cooling company Zalman is also manufacturing quality computer cases, storage accessories and power supply units. Today, Zalman is unveiling the ZM1250 Platinum PSU that features solid capacitors and high efficiency.
The new ZM1250 Platinum PSU is cooled by a temperature-controlled 140-millimeter fan and features partially modular cabling.
This “partially” modular cabling means that the main 24-pin ATX cable is not detachable and we believe that this is exactly as it should be, as we see no crucial reason to make it detachable.
There are two 12V rails that provide 45A and 65A of current, respectively, and the rated efficiency of the ZM1250 Platinum PSU is 80 percent.
Pricing stands at $320, which is about €260 for the European buyer.
