This case comes with a massive vertical heatsink that should passively cool the insides

Austria-based HFX home entertainment and technology company has just launched the micro-tower V2 fanless computer case on its official website.

The new device apparently needs an additional cooling kit that will provide the user with the necessary cooling heatpipes and heat transfer metal pads if the user wants to use the tall external heatsink.

As we already said, the micro-tower V2 is designed for miniITX motherboards and features two 2.5” bays and one 3.5” bay. Additionally, the V2 also comes with an ODD bay for mounting a slim DVD writer.

The side panels are, unfortunately, made of plastic, although we’d prefer aluminum for increased passive cooling capacity and sturdiness.

Pricing is slated at a rather high €199 which includes the value added tax.

That’s about $250 for the American buyer.
