Apple has announced via its iPhone Dev Center that users can now update their banking information on iTunes Connect. Those subscribed for using iTunes Connect with the Admin or Finance roles can now make changes to the banking information used to deposit App Store payments, according to the Mac maker. The service is providing access to tools and resources for the distribution of iPhone and iPod touch applications through the App Store. These include application delivery, application-management tools, sales information, banking setup, and financial reporting.

“You Can Now Update Your Banking Information in iTunes Connect,” Apple says. “[...] This means that banking updates will now be processed within 24 hours after you have submitted them,” the company stresses. “To make changes, log in to iTunes Connect and click on the Contracts, Tax and Banking Information module,” Apple explains.

In related news, Apple fans can now subscribe to a new RSS feed that will allow them to instantly receive updates on iPhone Developer News and Announcements. Targeting developers, the service assists users in getting the latest information on a wide range of topics, like tips on submitting apps to the App Store, program updates, the current turnaround time for app review, testing and development techniques, etc.

Just as important for iTunes Connect users, soon after announcing that iPhone developer news had become available via RSS, Apple issued a new announcement saying that additional language support had been added to iTunes Connect. The Mac maker has expanded the list of languages available for localizing an app metadata. As a result, the company ended up adding the following languages (listed along with the matching App Store territory): Brazilian Portuguese: Brazil App Store; Korean: Korea App Store; Portuguese: Portugal App Store; Russian: Russia App Store; Simplified Chinese: China App Store; Swedish: Sweden App Store.
