T-Mobile USA has been selling the Nokia Lumia 710 since January. There’s no telling how popular the Windows Phone device is. But if you are one of those customers who purchased one after January 11, then you will be happy to know that Nokia is now offering free Xpress-On color covers to Lumia 710 owners.

It appears that the company is doing everything it can to boost the smartphone’s sale in the United States and Canada, and this move is probably part of bigger marketing campaign.

According to Nokia, those who purchased a Lumia 710 after January 11 can get a free color Xpress-On cover for the smartphone. Customers get to choose from four colors, such as yellow, cyan, white and fuchsia.

Keep in mind that you must have purchased the Nokia Lumia 710 at participating T-Mobile retail stores or T-Mobile dealer stores in the 50 United States, the District of Columbia or Puerto Rico, otherwise you won’t be qualified for this promotional deal.

To get the free Xpress-On back cover, customers would have to visit a dedicated site and enter their name, mailing address, date of purchase and 15-digit IMEA number of the smartphone they have purchased.

Unfortunately, it will take no less than 4-6 weeks to get the free Xpress-On color cover for the Nokia Lumia 710. It is also worth mentioning this promotional offer runs through March 31, so any Lumia 710 purchase after this date won’t be eligible for a free color Xpress-On cover.

Unveiled last year in October, Nokia Lumia 710 was meant to offer customers with low-budgets the possibility to experience Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7.5 Mango operating system.

However, with the recent launch of the Lumia 610, which is likely to target emerging and developing markets, the Lumia 710 is not among the less-featured Windows Phone devices in the Lumia series.
