Nokia already confirmed some, if not all, of its Windows Phone devices will be launched in Canada in Q1 2012. Various Canadian carriers confirmed as well they will offer at least one of these smartphones.

Currently, Rogers is the only operator in the country to offer a Nokia Windows Phone, the Lumia 710. Customers can purchase this one for as low as $49.99 with a new three-year agreement or for around $250 outright.

Nokia Lumia 800 was also rumored to arrive in Canada within the next few weeks, but we had no exact release date until recently. Today, TELUS listed the Nokia Lumia 800 on its “Coming Soon” page with a March 2 release date attached to it.

Although there are no details on the Lumia 800 pricing options yet, we can safely assume that more info will emerge closer to the launch.

Until then we can only hope that this will be priced under $100 on a three-year term, especially if Nokia will bring its Windows Phone flagship, Lumia 900 in Canada.

Nokia Lumia 800 will be delivered with Microsoft's latest version of Windows Phone, Mango, though the company is said to launch a certain Tango version at this year's Mobile World Congress trade fair.

The smartphone is equipped with a single core Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.4 GHz and packs 16GB of internal memory and 512 MB of RAM. None of Nokia's Lumia smartphones sports a microSD card slot for memory expansion.

In addition, Lumia 800 boasts an 8-megapixel rear camera with Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, dual-LED flash HD (720p) video recording, as well as a 3.7-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

On a side note, Nokia is expected to launch two additional Windows Phone device next week at the MWC 2012 trade fair, a global Lumia 900 version and an affordable Lumia 610.
