Microsoft leaks some more Xbox information

Although, Microsoft denied that they are developing a new Xbox hard drive, things seem a little bit different. Rumors in the gaming community show that a new Xbox 360 hard drive will make its way onto game consoles soon.

Kotaku gaming website revealed a picture which clearly shows that the Xbox has a 60 GB hard drive, 59.5 Gb to be more exact. This picture was taken in a press conference for the "Fall 2006 System Update" at Microsoft headquarters. The first one to post the picture was the Japanese website GameWatch. While Microsoft recently denied rumors of a 100GB hard drive, let's see them get out of this one.

As the Xbox will soon receive some upgrades, including support for 1080p resolution, we can say that the Xbox will be able to handle the upcoming invasion of Sony's PS3. The only thing that will separate the Xbox 360 and the PS3 will be the Blu-Ray. Who knows, maybe Microsoft will come up with something in that regard.

But Microsoft still have the upper hand over Sony in some departments. The Xbox 360 was the first games console to have a simultaneous launch across the three major regions, USA, Japan and Europe, on November 22 of 2005.
