Gothic 4, among others, to be presented in Leipzig

Many people are disappointed by this year's E3 media summit and we can't actually blame them. However, this does not mean that all the festivals in the future will be as boring as the one which has just ended (maybe "boring" is too harsh if we are to describe the event as a whole). The upcoming Games Convention to be held in Leipzig this August could prove me wrong: JoWood has presented its game lineup and we must admit that we're really excited.

The main reason for that is the fact that the company will show game journalists ("behind closed doors," they say) an exclusive presentation of one of the most wanted RPGs of the upcoming year: Gothic 4 - Arcania. Having in mind that the company has promised an improved game experience compared with what we got in the third part and hopefully no or less bugs and glitches, Gothic 4 will definitely give it a go for the title of RPG of the year and, why not, one of the best ever made. So, thinking that we'll see it first in Leipzig is a big thing, since it will basically tell us whether we should really be excited about it or not.

However, if you're a fan of the franchise, you probably know that we'll first get an expansion of the Gothic 3 universe - Forsaken Gods. The title will also be presented during this year's Games Convention, so we expect to see a bit of the new quests, monsters and old friends, as well as the story which promises to take us a step closer to what we'll experience while playing the sequel.

The Guild 2 - Venice is another title to be presented in August. Small streets, gondoliers and a mystical carnival promise a lot of fun in the company of this new game which allows you to live your life in Venice exactly as the medieval population (have a family, work, earn money and enjoy the romance of the city). Hot prospects? Indeed!

Finally, the last title to be presented will be a classic mystery adventure game developed by The Adventure Company - Agatha Christie - Evil Under The Sun, based on the real life novel.
