Forsaken Gods promises to answer many open questions

Whenever a game gets two sequels and the third is in the works, one thing is clear: it is a great one or developed by Electronic Arts, but that's not our case because we're talking about Gothic - the one which could be among the best RPG games that were ever made, a title with both great story and gameplay. For the Gothic universe, the third game released by JoWooD was not only a normal evolution if we are to judge by the graphics, but a confirmation to the fact that there are still many things left to say about the Gothic world.

As further proof and considered by developers "a seamless step to Gothic 4", the official add-on for Gothic 3, Forsaken Gods, has been announced for a Q4 2008 release. The add-on promises to answer many (and we hope they meant "most of") open questions as you take, once again, on the role of the nameless Hero and have to raise your sword in anger to save the world. Of course, you will meet old friends during the journey, but JoWooD warns us to be careful, since some alliances may not have lasted the test of time.

Although no further details were given about Forsaken Gods, JoWooD announced that feedback from Gothic fans is very important to them and they are reading the official message boards daily in order to try implementing as many things as they want. And this is great because it is a known fact that the best ideas come from brainstorming sessions, even if they don't happen in real time, but on different message boards. Also, the developers promised to bring us more details regarding this add-on in the near future, so stay tuned with Softpedia to be the first one who finds out what JoWood is planning.
