Windows Phone Mango, the next flavor of Microsoft's mobile operating system, is expected to arrive on devices with a great deal of enhancements when compared to the first flavor of the platform, which was launched last year. Recently, Microsoft announced that there would be some over 500 new features added in Mango, and even detailed some of them.

However, there are a wide range of features that will arrive in the next OS flavor and which were either not explained, or given less attention than required, and some of these are explained in the videos embedded at the bottom of this article.

Yesterday, we had the chance to have a look at a series of videos that presented the new capabilities that Mango will add to the People Hub.

Moreover, Microsoft also delivered videos that explained some of the social networking capabilities that Mango will arrive with, such as the Twitter and LinkedIn integration.

Today, we'll have a look at some of the email features that the Redmond-based company packed in the next OS flavor, such as the new ‘Linked Inbox’ system, in the first video, or the manner in which email is handled in conversation.

For example, Mango will come with the ability to search emails on the server, so that users can access emails that are not on the phone as well. Moreover, it will offer the possibility to pin folders to start, for faster access to emails in it.

As for the ‘Linked Inbox’ system, it enables users to view all emails from all accounts associated with the phone in a single list. It allows for grouping various accounts, so that only emails from them will be showed in the same list.

In the second video below, you will learn a few details on what conversations on email is all about in Windows Phone Mango.

It provides lists of emails on a specific subject, so that users can easily make an idea of the conversation that was carried on the subject.

Email in Mango also provides users with the option to easily clean their conversations through moving emails to archives or different folders.

To read an entire conversation, all that one needs to do is to open the last message in the list, and them swipe through all other emails.

All in all, Email in Windows Phone Mango should prove much simpler and fun to use, the same as with other aspects of the mobile operating system.
