Among the enhancements that the next flavor of Microsoft's mobile operating system called Windows Phone Mango should bring around, we can count a series of improvements brought to the People Hub, aimed at offering users the possibility to stay close to their friends much easier than before.

As soon as Mango will arrive on handsets, users will be able to enjoy a new notification Live Tile system specifically designed for contacts, which can be easily pinned to the homescreen.

As soon as a contact has been pinned to the homescreen of the Windows Phone device, users will start receiving updates on what they are doing.

Whether it involves tweets, emails, messages, Facebook statuses, missed calls, and more, all of these will be delivered through the new notification Live Tile system, so that users can easily stay up to date with what their friends are doing.

Basically, the Live Tile will inform users when the respective person has tried to reach out through any of the aforementioned communication channels.

As soon as the Live Tile is tapped, Windows Phone Mango will display the entire history of the conversations between the user and the respective person.

Not to mention that all this is being delivered to users without the need to start digging through applications and menus, with only a few taps.

But there's more to it. The People Hub also comes with a grouping feature, so that users can easily put together contacts in the same category.

Thus, users can easily send emails, messages, or start a chat with people in a specific group, and will also stay up to date with what contacts in the said group are doing.

The feature will enable users access what these contacts have posted on social networking sites too, including on Twitter and LinkedIn.

All in all, it appears that Microsoft is set to include as many social networking features as possible in Windows Phone Mango, and to ensure that users can stay in touch with their friends easier than before.
