A new mobile application is now available for download for the owners of mobile phones running under Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 operating system in the United States, namely a USA Today app. The new software is already available for download via the Windows Phone Marketplace, and can deliver a great experience while on the go, it seems.

According to some of those who already gave it a try, the application does not seem to be plagued with issues, as other software out there might be.

The new USA Today app for Windows Phone offers fast navigation and access to various appealing features.

The new application, coming from the newspaper with the largest print circulation in the country, should offer the high-end experience one might expect from it, that's for sure.

As for the features that Windows Phone 7 users in the United States would benefit from with the application, here are some of them:

Headlines - Browse and read stories from News, Money, Sports, Life, Tech and Travel. Stories can be shared via email, text message, Twitter, or Facebook.

Scores - Review the latest sports scores for NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, college football and college basketball. Filter college scores down to your favorite conferences.

Weather - Get live weather conditions, up-to-the minute personal radar and the five day forecast at your current location, or for a set of your favorite locations. Review national weather maps including Doppler radar, temperature and precipitation forecasts.

Pictures - Flip through the day’s best photos from news, sports, celebrities, science, travel and weather or play them back as a slideshow. Share your favorite photo galleries with friends via email. USA TODAY Snapshots - Scan through USA TODAY Snapshots, and vote on a poll question for each. Review responses from all users.

According to the development team behind the software, the USA Today app for Windows Phone 7 was built entirely in house.

They managed to come up with an application that integrates the Metro interface of Windows Phone, and they are quite proud of it.

As stated above, the app is available for download via the Windows Phone Marketplace here. More on it can be found here.
