Remember talking about companies giving older titles Wii controls? Maybe this is the first one

Although "Capcom has not made any announcements about a new Resident Evil title," which is pretty much all they can ever say, and not just about their Resident Evil franchise, but about most of their games before launch, there is serious reason to believe that Resident Evil 4 is being ported to the Wii as we speak. And not just that, but also retailing at a reduced $29.99. Listings on both EB Games/GameStop and a Japanese retailer (1UP doesn't say which exactly), posted the ad you see on the left side of the article. Click to enlarge it and you'll see that the words Resident Evil 4 and Wii are present in the same ad.

Now, don't think it's a hoax just yet. It's true that Wii writing is grey and Resident Evil 4 is black but that doesn't necessarily mean that someone actually went to the trouble of making this up. Besides, it's not exactly rocket science to make that Wii sign black, even use another set of fonts and I sincerely think that if someone indeed made it all up, they could have easily made it more realistic.

The thing is that, after a short while, both listings were removed. I know what you're asking: So then how the hell did you get hold of them?" Well, just prior to their removal, 1UP got the chance to copy-paste the bastards and so the world can see them as they were. The site also brings to the readers' attention the fact that a while ago, Shigeru Miyamoto talked about many companies taking previous releases and adding them Wii controls, which isn't at all false. Almost every other month we hear about a Wii porting of something. Some may say that Resident Evil 4 isn't exactly that Wii-friendly title Nintendo would allow on their machine, but the title is perfect for motion sensitive control. Not so perfect for heart-sensitive people though.
